I made these Lori Whitlock tri-fold box cards from the Silhouette store #76755 and #76649, respectively, for Emma and Henry. I used the new 100lb whisper white from Stampin' Up, love it!!! The patterned paper is from Doodlebug. I used MFT Grape Jelly and Lemon Drop cardstock. The sentiment is from My Creative Time and stamped with Stampin' Up Daffodil Delight and Concord Crush inks. I added My Creative Time stitched tags and stitched buttons. Although you can't see it in the picture, I edged the butterfly and balloons and coloured below the stars with my Wink of Stella clear pen to add some sparkle.

Take care and have a great summer,

I made Christmas ornaments this year instead of cards. This ornament was created using the Papertrey Ink Make It Market: Tinsel and Tags kit. I love Papertrey Ink's stamps and dies. I cut the layers using my new Sizzix Vagabond!!! The glitter paper was originally white, but I inked it with Pacific Point Stampin' Up ink. I stamped the sentiment with Garden Green Stampin' Up ink. Each layer has coordinating stamps, so I'm looking forward to creating some colourful snow globe ornaments.

Take care and Happy New Year!!!
Her birthday is close to the end of November. These Mama Elephant pandas are so adorable. The box card is from a Lori Whitlock Christmas card from the Silhouette store. The lanterns are from the same Mama Elephant Pandemonium stamp set. I coloured the lanterns with Tim Holtz distress markers. The tag and sentiment are from My Creative Time. I'm not bored with these box cards yet, so I'll definitely be making more.
Stephanie loves the Monster Mash stamp and die set from Lawn Fawn, so I knew that I wanted to use the this set for her birthday card. The monsters are coloured with copic markers. I added some sparkle with my wink of stella clear pen and used glossy accents on the eyes of the orange and yellow monsters. The Halloween haunted house box card is design #66166 by Lori Whitlock from the Silhouette store. I love how this card turned out!!!
I'm still having fun making box cards. I used two different Lori Whitlock files from the Silhouette store because I love the box templates that have fun edges. This box card is for one of my best friends. I used another Lori Whitlock card from the Silhouette store. However, the flower centres and butterflies were made using My Creative Time dies. I can't get enough of her stitched dies. The patterned paper is Doodlebug. I love Doodlebug!!! :)

Take care and have a wonderful day,
I made this cute little card for my Godson's 11th birthday. I used Create a Critter 2 and Creative Cards Cricut carttridges. The patterned paper is from LOTV Candles & Cake 8x8 paper pad. I used MFT smooth white and steel grey cardstocks. The bottom of the party hat is a small piece of tinsel ribbon. I added faux white stitching around the banner, but I can't find a photo with the stitching. LOL :)

I made this card for my Goddaughter who turned 9 years old this month. Sorry, I didn't take a great photo with my phone. I've been having fun using dies again. I used the Simon Says Stamps Circle Friends stamps set and coordinating tri circle die. The banner is Simon Says Stamps String of Hearts, and I covered two of the hearts with My Creative Time stitched buttons (love the stitched button dies!!!). I added a little bit of sparkle with my Zig Wink of Stella clear brush tip marker. I embossed MFT Sweet Tooth cardstock with Sizzix Hearts embossing folder and then inked the hearts with Stampin' Up Blushing Bride ink. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey Kneehighs 6x6 paper pad.

Stephanie recently received a promotion to Assistant Manager at the hotel. A woo hoo and about time!!! Tee hee hee :) I made this card during a fun and relaxing scrapbooking day with a bunch of great ladies.

I'm currently taking Clean and Simple Card Making 2 at Online Card Classes. I used the sketch from Day 1 and the gradient stamping technique taught by Jennifer McGuire on Day 3. After seeing the technique, I search through my stamps and realized that I didn't have any multiple level stamps. I used a border stamp from CTMH Togetherness and 3 Stampin' Up inks. The sentiment is from CTMH Cricut Artiste Collection Kudos. Clean and simple cards are not my normal style, so I'm dying to add something else to this card. Thank you to Donna for the scalloped border suggestion. I may add ribbon or pearls or sparkle or . . .

Have a great week,
Caroline :)

P.S. So, I decided to add pearls. I'm happier with the card now. :)
I got the idea for this card when I purchased the Spellbinders Nestabilities - Square Swatches from DAT'S Scrapbooking. I'm going to miss having a local scrapbooking store. :(

The stamps and patterned papers are from LOTV. . . love them!!! The bear is coloured with copics, and I paper pieced the present. I inked everything with Stampin' Up Night of Navy.
Double digits already!!! My little Godson turns 10 this week. Henry is an excellent bowler. He has attended the junior provincial and national championships with his team. I've wanted to make him a bowling card for a while.

The bowling ball and pins are cut from the Nifty Fifties Cricut cartridge. I coated the bowling ball with glossy accents to add shine and dimension. The papers are from the Bo Bunny It's My Party collection and double dot cardstock that I purchased from DAT'S Scrapbooking.

I had a lot of fun creating this birthday card for Emma. Emma loves bugs, so I have to find a grasshopper cut for her next card. I love the bright colours of Summer Days Echo Park paper that I purchased from DAT'S Scrapbooking. The butterfly is from Create a Critter and on an Action Wobble. I used my new Peachy Keen Everyday Character Face Assortment stamps for the face. I love these stamps!!!
Have a great day!!!

I scraplifted the idea of using a tree from Lee-Ann's beautiful sympathy cards.

I used my new Bo Bunny vintage double dot cardstock and Weekend Market 6x6 paper pad that I recently purchase at DAT'S. All papers were inked with scattered straw Distress Ink. After taking Donna's card class, I was really excited to use the We R Memory Keepers Sew Ribbon tool on one of my projects. However, I punched the slots before selecting a suitable ribbon . . . rookie mistake!

Take care,
Caroline :)Carolinehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11007436260480632956noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7948296145263760202.post-46552334792623726652012-03-21T19:53:00.004-04:002012-03-21T20:06:20.169-04:00Fiona's Birthday Card I made this card for my sister's birthday last November. She loves pandas!!! I love the kind of 60's vibe that I unintentionally created with this card. Even cuter once the panda starts shaking on the Action Wobble.

I finally had a day off, so I used my time for crafting on this rainy Wednesday and made a sympathy card for a co-worker.

Take care,
Caroline :)Carolinehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11007436260480632956noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7948296145263760202.post-29317086442146914652011-10-04T21:15:00.015-04:002011-10-04T22:05:09.111-04:00For Someone SpecialSometimes words cannot express how lucky we are to have certain people in our life. I made this birthday card for one of my best friend's Mom. This LOTV image looks just like her granddaughter. The robot and gears are from the Robotz cartridge. I'm really thinking of getting a Gypsy after all the cuts needed for this robot. The robot is attached with an Action Wobble. I used Bo Bunny and Bazzill cardstocks. The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye True Blue 6x6 paper pad . . . he loves numbers and math like his Auntie Caroline!!! :) I used the Tim Holtz Alterations Steampunk embossing folder. I sanded the embossed cardstock and gears and then sponged them with antique linen Distress Ink. I used CTMH brads. The sentiment is LOTV and stamped with rich cocoa Memento ink. The ribbon is from Stampin' Up.

He loved the card, but not as much as the Hogwarts Lego set!!! :)

Carolinehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11007436260480632956noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7948296145263760202.post-48250383042333645882011-07-10T14:13:00.003-04:002011-07-10T14:39:42.191-04:00Happy Father's Day I had a lot of fun colouring this LOTV image! The mice are so cute!!! :) My Dad loves to bake, so this was the perfect Father's Day card.

I used Stampin' Up kraft, Doodlebug Petite Prints and Bo Bunny cardstocks. The ribbon is Bo Bunny. I coloured the image with copics and used white fun flock for the flour to add dimension. The border punch is EK Success.
