Wedding Invitations

Stephanie's wedding is on October 2nd of this year. She has chosen fall colours as her colour scheme. So with the approaching date and the selected colours came the intimidating task of creating the wedding invitaion.

I wasn't sure how to design a wedding invitation. My first inspiration was the Stampin' Up Wedding Sweet stamp set. The Stampin' Up catalogue contained a sample invitation using this stamp set that I thought was really beautiful. Next we had to determine how to construct the card with a pocket. I searched You Tube and found this video by I modified the dimensions to create a 5x7 card. The Bazzill brown and sun coral cardstock were the perfect. However, the sawdust cardstock wasn't quite the right colour, so I sprayed the cardstock with iridescent gold glimmer mist. Eureka!!!

I absolutely love this final version of the wedding invitations.
