Congratulations Stephanie!!!

Stephanie recently received a promotion to Assistant Manager at the hotel.  A woo hoo and about time!!! Tee hee hee  :)  I made this card during a fun and relaxing scrapbooking day with a bunch of great ladies.

I'm currently taking Clean and Simple Card Making 2 at Online Card Classes.  I used the sketch from Day 1 and the gradient stamping technique taught by Jennifer McGuire on Day 3.  After seeing the technique, I search through my stamps and realized that I didn't have any multiple level stamps. I used a border stamp from CTMH Togetherness and 3 Stampin' Up inks.  The sentiment is from CTMH Cricut Artiste Collection Kudos.  Clean and simple cards are not my normal style, so I'm dying to add something else to this card.  Thank you to Donna for the scalloped border suggestion.  I may add ribbon or pearls or sparkle or . . .

Have a great week,
Caroline  :)

P.S.  So, I decided to add pearls.  I'm happier with the card now.  :)

  5. This is a fabulous card! I love how you did the background and I really don't know where you are going to add anything else to this card. I wouldn't want to cover up any of that gorgeous background that was a lot of work as well. Sunday was a great day!
