Fiona's Birthday Card

I got the idea for this card when I purchased the Spellbinders Nestabilities - Square Swatches from DAT'S Scrapbooking.  I'm going to miss having a local scrapbooking store.  :(

The stamps and patterned papers are from LOTV. . . love them!!! The bear is coloured with copics, and I paper pieced the present. I inked everything with Stampin' Up Night of Navy.

I'm entering this card at Lili's Little Fairies Challenge - Anything Goes.

Have a great day!!!

Henry's 10th Birthday

Double digits already!!! My little Godson turns 10 this week.  Henry is an excellent bowler.  He has attended the junior provincial and national championships with his team.  I've wanted to make him a bowling card for a while.

The bowling ball and pins are cut from the Nifty Fifties Cricut cartridge.  I coated the bowling ball with glossy accents to add shine and dimension.  The papers are from the Bo Bunny It's My Party collection and double dot cardstock that I purchased from DAT'S Scrapbooking.

Have a great week and take care,
Caroline  :)

Emma's 8th Birthday

I had a lot of fun creating this birthday card for Emma.  Emma loves bugs, so I have to find a grasshopper cut for her next card.  I love the bright colours of Summer Days Echo Park paper that I purchased from DAT'S Scrapbooking.  The butterfly is from Create a Critter and on an Action Wobble.  I used my new Peachy Keen Everyday Character Face Assortment stamps for the face.  I love these stamps!!!

Have a great day!!!

Donna's Baby Book - April

When one of our friends has a baby, we each contribute pages to make a baby album. I was assigned April, and luckily I had this Easter paper. TJ is such an adorable and happy baby!!! I can't wait to see these pages with his pictures some day.

Take care,
Caroline :)

Sympathy Card

I made this card for a co-worker who unexpectantly and tragically lost a member of her family. I scraplifted the idea of using a tree from Lee-Ann's beautiful sympathy cards.

I used my new Bo Bunny vintage double dot cardstock and Weekend Market 6x6 paper pad that I recently purchase at DAT'S. All papers were inked with scattered straw Distress Ink. After taking Donna's card class, I was really excited to use the We R Memory Keepers Sew Ribbon tool on one of my projects. However, I punched the slots before selecting a suitable ribbon . . . rookie mistake!

Take care,
Caroline :)

Fiona's Birthday Card

I made this card for my sister's birthday last November. She loves pandas!!! I love the kind of 60's vibe that I unintentionally created with this card. Even cuter once the panda starts shaking on the Action Wobble.

I finally had a day off, so I used my time for crafting on this rainy Wednesday and made a sympathy card for a co-worker.

Take care,
Caroline :)
